Did you do any other basting besides the spray, (pins, etc?). How did it hold up doing a king size quilt?
Machine or hand quilted? Curious minds want to know!
Dear Curious Minds: Nope! No pins, no basting, etc. Just the 505 spray. I was careful, tho, when quilting it and didn't handle it more than I had to. I kept the excess either folded or rolled out of the way when quilting sections. Also I didn't do any intricate quilting patterns, just used my walking foot to stitch in the ditch until I got to the border and did a meander stitch there. Hope this helps.

This is the 1st time I've spray basted, so I did SOME pinning, especially on the edges just to keep it from catching on something and coming apart. I quilted like I do in general, from the middle to outside. I haven't used it with intricate machine quilting yet, just meandering. The current quilt has sky and water, so meandering the simulates waves and clouds. I'll post a picture when I finish. This is the 1st of quilts for twins that are ALMOST identical - the quilts, not the babies. I think I'll be able to start quilting the 2nd tomorrow.
