Default A new block I think I designed.

I have been working at designing a perfect block for a new comfort quilt I am going to make. I came up with this one and am calling it Focus Point. Since I realize there are few new ideas left out there, I just thought I'd ask if any of you know this block under another name by someone else. This is meant to be a scrappy quilt. The block: The top with subpatterns: Playing with some colors:

Very nice. I've never designed my own block. Good for you.

Very nice. I can't think of another block like it. I like the secondary pattern when you put it together.

Never seen this one before.
Isn't quilting THE most fun and creative thing going?

It is a great block. Now put the date on it. I would also add a copyright to it. Are you thinking of writing a pattern for it? That is when it gets copyright. Enjoy the process! Luann in CT

That looks like a great block. Keep up the good work. Make sure you copyright it. The assembled pattern looks good too.
