Have you just tried YouTube for quilting? Also try amazon for a book or if you have kindle you can purchase books on beginning to quilt.

WOW
I have been on this board for a few months now and I think I have graduated from being a "novice" quilter to an intermediate quilter by now. Although I have spent hours looking around on this board, over the net and in books and there are so many great ideas, tutorials, pictures, links etc and I had not seen these so well made tutorials for beginners.
Those are great Thanks for letting us (me) know!

The more your search and read this board the more you will learn.
Google is also an excellent tool.
Learn the basics such as a four patch, a nine patch, half square triangle,
quarter square triangle and flying geese.
You can check quilterscache.com for all kinds of free quilt blocks.
They are classified in alphabetical order, size and difficulty.

Have fun!

Sounds like you have gotten bit by the quilting bug!!! Welcome to the Quilting Board! So much information right here as well as the sites listed. All great places...but it is also good to take a good beginner class in person and learn hands on and make new quilting friends...many classes I have taught in the past have students forming lasting friendships and sewing groups.
