I think that's funny and I'd leave it in. I seem to remember reading a similar thread about a year or so ago, in fact I thought this was it and had been resurrected. So you're not the only one!

I had not heard that! Now I'm gonna have to go to the Googles to find that story. That cracks me up because years ago, I found fabric that was either identical or very similar to what you're describing. It made me laugh, but I didn't purchase it. Later on, I was kicking myself because my mother was admiring a wall hanging I'd made, and I thought it would have been perfect to make a wall hanging for with the teensy penis print and see how long it would take her to notice. I could just imagine her showing it off to all her Bunco buddies, and the Bunco group just roaring about it. What a hoot that would have been!

This is so funny, I've just finished FMQing a very large quilt with edge to edge swirls and twirls and more swirls. Every now and then I'd run out of room for a full sized twirl. I got to looking at one of them and it kind of reminded me of, well, you know... I thought it was just getting really late that night, but the next morning as i was twirling away again I recalled that thread from a while back where someone's daughter, I think, had pointed out suspect-looking shapes in her stippling. From that point on, it seemed like every darn one of my "twirls" took on that shape. But when my daughter and my husband look at it, all they see are endless swirls, so I guess I'm okay. And this one's NOT going anywhere near a quilt show!

That is so funny! I would leave it no one else will ever notice.

Definitely leave it - it will bring a smile to your face every time you think of it. Reminds me of a piece of art I bought at an art fair. I thought it was a flock of sheep under a starry sky and would look nice in my daughters' room. It wasn't until I'd had it for almost five years that I realized that the constellations were pornographic and everyone else had known it all along and thought I did too.

LOL - I would leave it in too - you can have a little smile whenever you think about that quilt.

I often find unusual "parts" in my meandering quilting. If I feel it is too obvious, I take out only part of the "parts" and restitch. Only I know what was there! Tee-Hee.
