    That is striking and gorgeous! I love everything you have done, I love the colors! I also had to look up the original pattern and I much prefer your version.
    When I look at the thumbnail, it's very pretty and I love it. When I look at the larger image, it looks a little busy and I find myself thinking it needs something plain to give the eye a rest. I'm not helping much am I? 🤣

    I like the black because I think the contrast gives the quilt a bit of punch. I went and looked at the pattern and agree with some of the others that if you continue and want to minimize the black that would look good too. It sounds like you are not happy with it though and are willing to start again. This would make a beautiful baby quilt if you have a special daughter/niece/granddaughter/goddaughter on the way. Sorry I’m not much help.

    BTW I much prefer your center to the original!

    I would continue until it was a useable size. Then if you still don't like it you could donate it.

    I think it is beautiful. I can easily picture it made into any of the choices, but I think it would be especially nice as a baby quilt. The moms in my family would go nuts for it!

    I think it’s beautiful with the solid black. If you do decide to stop and use it as a wall hanging, the solid black areas would be a great place to play with thread color and type during the quilting. If you keep going to a baby or even a bed size quilt it would be striking. Just depends on what you want to use it for and whether you like it enough to keep going.

    I love pink and black together and would probably continue. I like what you've done so far! But if you aren't inclined, either put it away and look at it in a few months or stop here and turn it into a wallhanging/baby quilt.

    Yes, definitely continue. I like your version better than Bonnie's. Hers is way too busy. No where for your eyes to rest.

    I like it, yes, the black is bold and takes center stage, but it does not take away from the pink and white. It pops and looks beautiful. You should definitely continue.
