In my case, I make mine simply because I would rather spend the money on more fabric.

I don't use it, prefer my binding to match my top or my backing.

I use the store bought stuff when I use binding, but make a lot of my quilts with the "birthing method" (even a king-sized!!)

I like the way that looks.
