Hopefully this link works and is allowed. This is, to me, the fastest way to make multiple HSTs.

I agree - Diagonal Seam Tape (can get from Missouri Star Quilt or Cluck Cluck Sew) is wonderful for sewing straight and/or diagonal lines without marking. I agree that it is the best notion ever.
