Nowadays there are lots of Longarms built into tables or Cabinets,I have 1 of both but still Love to Machine Quilt on my Old or New Sewing Machines, I am a bit of a collector and a Multi Machine User, Why have them If U don't use Em? If your feed dogs don't drop, Cover them with a Plastic template or Use a card of somesort cut a hole for the needle, get a darning foot or Big Foot made for your machine usually it is for a low shank you need to measure before you order, Clotide Catalog has them. Have Fun!!!
