Summer quilting - sewing
#1
Made newest grandnieces Elizabeth Ann and Gabriella a quilt of their own so they don't have to share with their slightly older sisters. Extended family is growing by leaps and bounds the past few years. My family added our first great grandchild Jack who was born July 31.
My Guild is associated with a local park that has many nature classes, workshops and trail walks. The Park asked Guild members to make some Sit Upon cushions for children to sit on when they take one of the nature courses. Top of Sit Upon could have anything on it that would be found in nature, animals, trees, plants, etc. I chose to make some turtles as I already had a pattern.
Should have another photo here, the queen size quilt I made for DIL. She picked it up yesterday and we got to talking and forgot to take a photo. She'll do it when she puts the quilt on their bed.
