If that is what she had left after selling it for only $1 a piece, she must have started with an enormous stash. Hard to imaging, but it's great that you got it so cheaply.

Wow. What a haul. Nice going. And, a big welcome to the board from Texas.

I am stunned!!! What a blessing - to say the least. You have enough projects to make quilts - well, forever!
Congrats....and hope to see many many quilts and projects coming out of all that fabric!!!

So I think that mom and I will finish folding and organizing today! wooohoo! We've come across a few smaller pieces that weren't big enough to fold around a regular comic book board, so I took some of the boards and cut them in half. (sizes like 1/8 of a yard or fat quarters work well on these). Those fabrics wrapped on the smaller boards happen to fit perfectly in some baskets I got from the dollar store to organize things in my office.wooohoo!

Wow there are so many wonderful looking colors in those bins, my eyes keep getting drawn to the brown one with the pink flowers on it, can you tell me who the designer is? I really want to find that one now lol

Do you mean in the last picture I just posted, or in the first pictures? If you can help me narrow down which fabric I'll be glad to look and see who the designer is.

Ok - if the brown with pink flowers fabric is the one in the last picture here is a link to it below. It's a Michael Miller (we have a LOT of his fabric! It's gorgeous!) and called Daisy Dreams:

and a place to buy it (no clue about this place, just the first one that came up in google!)

How wonderful. You might like to check out the Prayer Quilt Ministry. I have belonged to one for about 10 years now and the joy of giving a prayer quilt is seeing the recipients smile when they receive their quilt. God bless you for your part in making prayer shawls. I have a prayer shawl and a prayer quilt. I am about to have my neck fuzed and I will be taking my prayer quilt with me to the hospital.

wooohoo we finished folding all the fabric and all have divided it up by what each of us liked the most (and generally agreed - amazing!) so now we just have notions, ribbon, and patterns to go through - but all of that is at least organized by type of item already (we did that when we took them out of the big bins). So now the goal in the next week is to get my office organized enough to find space for everything and make it all pretty!
