I have this exact one....it's frustrating, because it will not hold its grip for very long. I would NEVER use it in the shower, for this reason.
And yes...last summer, I cut the side of my index finger off...just missed slicing thro the nail. It took so long to heal! Was sensitive forever, it seemed. When I got home from the doc, I found the piece of finger on my cutting mat...dried up like a potato chip....amidst the puddles of blood....lol. Now I wear a glove, and always will.

I use one of these on our shower wall, when I have to bend over (dropped the soup or such), or to wash my feet, and to assist getting in and out - I have some trouble lifting one leg when stepping out of shower. Gives me stability.

Love it

I have been going to buy something for my husband to help him in and out of the tub since his stroke 4 years ago. Thank you for the idea..... Update...Have been reading the comments about the tub...guess I will just go buy a bar!
