    Default Superior Threads

I made a wonderful score today on Superior Threads. They are having a sale on their brown/tan fabrics. When going through the list I found the South Sea Imports Complements Cream for $0.94 and it said they had 11 yards. Now, I know this was probably a mistake but I ordered and paid for all 11 yards through paypal. Superior Threads did contact me telling me there was a problem with my order. When I called them I explained that I bought the material at the price stated. The girl got really frustrated and passed me onto John, who agreed with me that I had placed the order and paid for it. I feel bad in some ways, but I keep thinking of all the quilt backs on charity quilts I can use this fabric on. I really appreciate Superior Threads in agreeing that it was their mistake and honoring the sale. I definitely will buy from them again.

Great deal. Same thing if you go into a store and find something - pay what it is marked.

Pudge - they have a wide variety of fabric although they don't usually have sales that good. They have standard LQS pricing and usually their sales are about 10-20% off.

It was a mistake. It was supposed to be 9.40 not .94. I am sure someone got into some trouble for posting the wrong price.

I have respect for them, that they honored their error. Bet you will always remember the bargain every time you use the fabric and smile.

Very impressed with Superior - they could have done what a lot of of retailers would have have done - canceled the order and refund the customer.

Superior's customer service is great. The first time I ordered thread from them, I had a difficult time removing the plastic covering on the spool. I emailed a comment to them something to the effect that the plastic was impossible for me to remove. My DD had to remove it for me. I have RA and just could not get the plastic off. I received an email from John stating that next time I ordered to request the plastic be removed before shipping. Wow. Talk about pleasing a customer!

They could have just said they are sold out - at that price and you wouldn't have thought twice.

Superior Threads just went up a few notches in my book. Thanks for the good news story.

Superior is the only place I buy machine needles. I usually add a lot more then needles when it's time to order. Great company. They have weekly deals that you can sign up to get email what is on sale. The shipping cost is very low too.
