I have one and can tell no difference. I don't bother anymore. Waste of money.

I really like using the slider; but even with washing the under side, I have managed to sew 3 sliders into quilts. That got expensive. Now, I tape the slider down with painter's tape and am no longer sewing the slider into my quilt. The problem with using tape is I have to remove the tape, etc. to change the bobbin. That is a real pain! I should be able to change the bobbin without removing everything; but I am just not that agile.

I use "Sew Slip", same idea as "Glider". And machiner gloves. I don't have to grip the quilt to keep it moving smoothly. Now I have arthritis in my thumbs. The "Sew Slip" and machiner gloves really help. I wish I'd used them years ago, maybe could have avoided the arthritis.
