Default Surprised

I am surprised that no one has started the new BH Mystery thread since she announced colors and yardage today. I do love the colors, but will be waiting again for the finish.

IceBlossom is already volunteered to lead the thread, it's in last year's thread clean up.

The last few years all her mysteries have looked the same semi scrappy patterns. I'll wait until the reveal to decide. I do like seeing all the different versions posted. I know she uses the Accuquilt Studio to cut the hundreds of the pieces needed for the pattern. The units are always in those sizes. She will use the ruler in her steps to show how it is done. I usually wait and make a block before cutting everything at one time.

Perhaps I am remembering wrong, but I thought the intro had traditionally been the day after Halloween in the past (or am I thinking of first clue on the day after Thanksgiving?), so maybe Iceblossom is thinking that, too.

Those aren't colors I would have associated with Vietnam, just shows what I know, LOL.

I submitted a starting post for this year's mystery early today... the Challenges section requires moderation for new threads. A couple of weeks ago through private messages to PatriceJ I mentioned that I would be requesting posting of the thread for this year. A bit ago I sent her another PM that I had submitted the post earlier today.

For those not on Bonnie's mailing list who are wanting a look -- here's the yardage/color/background intro --
