Default sweet 16/tiara

those of you that have this machine dose the foot hop up and down or just stays still when fmq hope I made sense thanks

The foot does move up and down slightly when stitching. This instructional video has some close-ups of the Sweet 16 in use.

The "foot" shall we call it for FMQ must go up and down so you can move the quilt in any direction you need to in order to quilt it. You can not move it when the needle is down so that is when the foot is down. It is the same way with my Bernina 1530.
