    Default Sweet Sixteen Bobbin cases

I am having a problem with the bobbin case. I do a test and the tension and stitches look ok. I sew for a short time and all of a sudden I get eyelashes on top. Take out the bobbin case and the thread has come out of the tension spring. Anyone else have this problem. How did you fix it?

Also where do you buy extra bobbin cases?

    Thanks for any info. Linda

Can't help a lot cause I just got my SS16 yesterday but in the training she said to be sure to put the bobbin in the case in the right direction and to be sure that the thread is securely under the spring. Check your manual again and make sure the thread is coming out of the case in the right direction.

You can buy bobbin cases from Handi Quilter.

Oh and one more thing - when you put the case in the machine, do not hold onto the lever. Just leave it flat and you should hear a click when that case is securely in the machine. She said holding that lever causes problems.

Mary, I did all those things. Got mine a little over a year ago. Been pretty happy with her.
