I'd be happy to lead a group if you want me to start one here. Anyone game?

Thanks Lynda, Im game.
Just did the bears paw block but used El Burns pattern for the 6 inch block. Much better except I should have used the 1/4 in setting instead of the scant because it came out to big. Her patterns are too perfect.
I have to set my machine at 2.5 to get my blocks the right size and even then one came out to small, block f6.
Im skipping all the paper pieced blocks also.

Took the time to convert some patterns to El Burns method and what a difference in quality and time spent.

I've done four blocks. My LQS wants me to lead a group next
year so I'm trying to work up several blocks ahead of time.
I just love the look of this quilt.

I purchased the book, but I have 6 projects ahead of it. I am going to watch this post so I can be half way educated when the time comes.

[quote=LyndaOH]I finished my quilt, which I did over about a year and a few months.

I coordinate an online BOW group for the author. We do one block a week and there are tips, monthly drawings, etc. Join us by visiting http://www.sylviasbridalsampler.com. Click on BOW and look for the sign up instructions in the left column.

Here's a photo of mine:[/quot

BEAUTIFUL!

I belong to the online BOW group Lynda is hosting. It's great! I started without much experience but I learned a lot. I did start myself before I joined the group, I started with the easy blocks. I think the instructions in the book are ok.

When LGQ did BOM, there were a couple of months with instruction changes included as there were errors in the book. I THINK you can go to website to get the corrections. But I don't know the link.
