I use a computer table for my sewing machine, too. I have a lot of room on the left where I need it, it's sturdy, and my Janome fits just perfectly in the dropped keyboard section. I think that I ordered mine from target.com

I'm going to go to the thrift stores this week and look around!! we also have an office supply used furniture place that might have something similar. I'd like one to take on retreats or set up when my bee comes over to do a project. And all the beter ifit has lots of room around the opening for support when machine quilting.

Very nice. I am in the process of making a 4'x8' cutting table with 2 extra 4x8 shelves. I am looking forward to getting it finished.

very nice. thx for sharing. i like that every bit as much as the one i just got. mine is advertised on line as 'for janome 6600, and 6500. same price.
