I think it'll be great. Depending on the pattern I don't think it would necessarily take on a southwest look. Could be almost beachy like coral and the ocean. I saw a sampler with those colors.

Be *sure* these are the favorites colors for a *bedroom*. Had a friend who was asked what her favorite color was and she said red; her grandmother gifted her with a hand-pieced, hand quilted bed quilt with red as the dominant color!

I would go with one over the other, with maybe a cream color as the backup.

Lovely quilt, with the turquoise and coral. I can remember years ago, when THE color was dusty rose, now that was a period of time color. Looked nice at the time, but not now. Not saying the above quilt is the same, it is so pretty.

They would be beautiful together as evidenced here, but I would ask the bride herself.

This is a lovely example of coraL and turquoise combo. If those are the gals favorate colors then look for that color combo.

French braid in those colors, back with flannel for a coverup while watching TV. Might have to make two.

I agree! You could MAKE them look southwest if that's what you wanted but they certainly aren't restricted to that vicinity. Turquoise and coral can also look very beachy. It would probably help to know what styles she likes. There is a lot of space between turquoise and coral in a girly floral and a modern solids quilt.

My first thought was to combine the two colors, but now I'm wondering if just one of the colors with white would be a better/more elegant way to go.

Just curious how many of you think each way. THX
If you will be shopping for the main fabric, I'd certainly try to find a print that has the coral and the turquoise. Then I'd lean toward the turquoise, a bit more masculine. Maybe pull a third color from the print to even out the other two colors, like maybe a green.

I think pale shades of both turquoise and coral with cream would be magnificent!
