I started basting around the edges of my border thinking I might want to quilt it first, but I didn't. When I was done stitching all four of the sides had prominent waves in them. Started to pull out the basting and realized I hadn't set the stitch length control to a long basting stitch. Now I'm sitting here in the company of my Frog, hearing it croak, rip-it, rip-it, rip-it.

Have you not taught the cat to reverse stitch? :)

I hear you ... I find flat smooth borders the hardest part of the whole production! So hard to get a really good measurement when it's out so big.

And so important to the quality of the finish! You'll be glad that you took the time to take it out.

I am so sorry you are having problems. Take a break and start again tomorrow. Things will be better.

But I heard the "voice", and ignored it. (The cat is taking a break from all of the fun).

Sorry that happened. After you finish screaming or pulling out your hair, remember we all do things like that sometimes.

It's only temporary, it's only temporary. My bath tub is calling. There's those voices again. This time I must obey. :-)
