I will be working on the borders on the 1st take 5 quilt I am making for Koressa. I have 2 more to make (for Darrien and Sayra) and a rag quilt for the incredibly handsome Curtis Ray.

Just reading all your responses trying to get motivated to get started today. I'm still hand quilting my son's retirement quilt. After many frustrations, I'm moving along. It's not the perfection I envisioned, but ..... I absolutely intend to finish this by May. Each day I hand quilt until my back refuses to take it any more, then after dinner I switch to English piecing a Grandmothers Garden that I started years ago. This has been my travel, no brainer project, but recently decided I'd like to get it finished. Have 22 of 67 blocks finished. I have a Road To Oklahoma sitting on my sewing table -- 28 of 40 blocks sewn and pressed. I started this last Spring when I needed a break from my son's quilt. But it's just like the other 25 tops in various stages of completion that I have stashed in my sewing room -- it's just laying there.

I'll be finishing the stabilizing bottoms for 4 Bow Tucks bags that I have just finished, plus sewing the buttons on. I have already sold one of the bags, which is nice - helps to support my "quilt" habit". LOL Then I need to finish a Christmas (I know it's very late) candle mat for my daughter for her dining room table = a late Christmas present. Then I'll decide what type of quilt I'll make for my DGD, now that she's in a "big girl" bed. Then I'll just keep plugging away at my UFOs. There's always something to be finished, started, quilted, etc., etc.

I am piecing together my first quilt in many years. There is nothing coordinated about it. It is all random colors and prints being made into a D9P. DH bought me a new sewing machine for my birthday, and I am just 'getting to know' her. Practicing my sewing, seam allowances and cutting without using any of my good fabric. It might turn out pretty and it might be ugly, but I don't care as I am having fun. I am anxious to see what it will look like, thou.

I sandwiched and basted a quilt for my daughter. Tomorrow I will start the quilting. Tonight I will work on knitting a pair of socks for me.

I am trying to get together a bunch of fat quarters from small pieces of fabric I have that's just a little more then 18 inches in length and a little more than 22 inches in width. (color coordinating of course)

I had two pieces of flannel. One with yellow rubber ducks- one with sailboats. Made sandwich and I am quilting (outlining) the ducks. I'm bout half through but I have a rule--I play with quilts til 5 then quit--- unless DH turns on sports!! If the sorts come on , I leave to quilt!! We both have to sacrifice!! Lol
