Don't most DHs tell us we don't need "it" sometime or another but know deep down that we will go ahead and get it? I say go for it. He loves you, he understands your passion, he will get over it :)

Oh I went and sewn something alright! I put binding on a baby quilt, made 2 doll quilts, and a table runner.

All I could do was think about it and I may have talked myself back into it! Yikes, I don't have this much problem buying a car!

I would have to pass right now because we are trying to get out of debt. In the long run the choice is yours.

Well, what other type of sewing machine do you have. Is this "more beautiful" or "older" or does it give you pleasure just to look at it? It is a beautiful design. I would say pass, but only you know what other machines you already own and this one may just add a special joy. Keep us posted on what you decided.

Go for it, if you can afford it. Would love to have one of those cabinets. Yes, I too have too many, but love them so. We are going through each one and cleaning and refinishing, if needed. They are so pretty and useful when the electricity goes out. Just my 2 cents worth.
