I have used Thangles for years and love them...but do have friends who have gotten the Triangulations cd and they love it, so may have to check out that option. I love the Thangles because they work with strips of fabric cut to size, no waste, and work great for scrap quilts.

Yes I have made this one with thangles it makes it perfect but there is a lot of paper to rip off. But while your working on it , they stay nice and neat while they are being stored . Here is my project still not done needs another border not sure what I want to do yet. I might put the zig zag just on the top and put dark blue on 3 sides it's a king size quilt. Still in thinking mode...

the trianglations software uses the squares; you sew on the marked lines and then cut them apart. I just today bought thier latest upgrade because it uses 1/16 increments also; the older version used 1/8th which I can deal with but trying to cut to 1/16th; what a pain. I do civil war quilts and there alot of them there.

This is GORGEOUS!!! I keep looking a this pattern as I have often seen it in the back of magazines and would love to try it, but wasn't sure about the whole Thangles thing either. Will also look up that Triangualtions CD that has been mentioned.
Thanks everybody for your input!!
