I went to a guild Christmas party this week and we played the same game. I won a prize because I knew more than anyone at the party. I got a lot of them from this site too.

Good for you to win the fat quarters. I am also a sable.

Congratulations on your win! My quilting group thinks I am an odd one because stash makes me nervous!! We quilt at a local shop and I say "look at all that fabric at my disposal, any time I want it". they run plenty of sales if I need something.

Wow! Great acronynm (sp?) I've always wondered if someone had figured that out. Based on my parents, I figure I have 18 years left. If I don't buy more, and am able to sew right up to the last minute...maybe it will come out even.

Congrats on the win! I would have missed SABLE, but glad you knew it! Now you have more stash! :-)

My problem with this is that I'm a mostly weekend quilter. I still work and especially this time of year, I'm very busy so getting to a quilt shop can be hassle. No quilt shops open on Sat evening or Sunday. Plus the nearest one to me now is about a half hour drive. I love having fabrics at my fingertips to sew whenever I want.
