    Thank You QB

I went to my guild's Christmas party this week. I won a prize (a pack of really nice Moda fat quarters!) in the quilting acronyms game. I knew more of them than anyone else there. The leader couldn't believe I knew what SABLE stood for! She obviously doesn't read on QB.

What does SABLE stand for? (I went to search, but found lot of blank text boxes in old links.)

Congratulations on your win. Sounds like a good prize.

Hey that's wonderful! Enjoy your fat quarters.

I like to make lists. I also like to leave them laying on my sewing table and then guess what's on the list while at the fabric store. Fun game.

I went to a guild Christmas party this week and we played the same game. I won a prize because I knew more than anyone at the party. I got a lot of them from this site too.

Congratulations on your win! My quilting group thinks I am an odd one because stash makes me nervous!! We quilt at a local shop and I say "look at all that fabric at my disposal, any time I want it". they run plenty of sales if I need something.

Wow! Great acronynm (sp?) I've always wondered if someone had figured that out. Based on my parents, I figure I have 18 years left. If I don't buy more, and am able to sew right up to the last minute...maybe it will come out even.

Congrats on the win! I would have missed SABLE, but glad you knew it! Now you have more stash! :-)

My problem with this is that I'm a mostly weekend quilter. I still work and especially this time of year, I'm very busy so getting to a quilt shop can be hassle. No quilt shops open on Sat evening or Sunday. Plus the nearest one to me now is about a half hour drive. I love having fabrics at my fingertips to sew whenever I want.
