    Its a beautiful quilt!! But oh the Funk & Wagnal bit, the root word is cuddle, ie cuddlebily or cuddlesome. Either way it is still a beautiful quilt. You friend will love it and her neigbhors will envy her.

    I think the photo was possibly taken in not-to-great lighting conditions but I don't see anything wrong with this quilt. You did beautiful work and I think the colors are just perfect for a beach location. Please take another photo in a sunny area so you can appreciate how pretty this quilt really is!
