Go ahead and post pics, there is always someone who will love what you make. Those that don't care for that particular style will just move on!

I can't think of anything that I dislike, like them all.

:)

I can't think of anything that I just don't like. There are a few that aren't my favorite and don't make me say--I need to make that. I think the difference in tastes is what makes quilting so popular. I also find that my tastes change all the time. I am drawn to browns, so I try to look for different colors. I'm also drawn to antique looking quilts, but don't care for 30's reproduction fabrics. Go figure.

I agree that I have grown to like some quilts made in patterns I don't normally like because the quilter used a wonderful combination of colors/fabrics. I do not see me EVER making a GFG or anything with yo-yos though! They just don't appeal to me but I appreciate the work that goes into them.

I'll take all the scrappy and Bow Tucks......love them all. I did one quilt where I bought all the fabrics for it and cut out all the pieces in the order printed and sewed just as instructed. I Hate that quilt! give me the scrappy and mismatched any day!!!

Me too, me too!

I strongly dislike most of the fabrics that go for lots of money these days--things like Amy Butler. They all look like they came out of the 60's and 70's to me--and I still remember the 70's, so why do I want to go back there? I really don't like these fabrics!

I absolutely adore bargellos (my favorite style as soon as I saw them, though only the twisting ones). Scrappies are also high on my list of loves! I'm not the biggest fan of Sunbonnet Sues though, although they're cute to look at and I admire the workmanship. I also don't really prefer traditional blocks in pastels - I think that they need a different color scheme to really make them stand out, else they're just a little boring and dated. And while some OBWs are really incredible, others just make me wince and wonder why people cut up a perfectly lovely print for them.
