And why is it that I have never once seen someone carrying a Bow Tuck Bag? I do watch for them, but maybe people put so much work into them that the bag is more of an art piece than a useable purse? I don't know.
I use mine!! In fact it is getting tattered and frayed. Time to make a new purse but when I do it WON'T be a bowtucks! I don't like it. My stuff falls out all the time, straps too short and frankly I'm tired of them. :D
I don't see anyone around here carrying them either. I don't like them at all, but I find that when something is shown over, and ove,r and over, and over, and over, it just gets a little(LOT) old for me. Plus I don't carry a purse at all, so there just isn't a point in my having a bag of any kind. Now, if someone one wanted to make a tote bag and donate to the poor(ME), I would love that! lol

(Cue 'The Twilight Zone' music) Not the type of thing you'd expect a creepy woman to have in her house

Good luck with your 'therapy'.

There was one that creeped me out. I had to make one for someone and that cured me to the point that I no longer remember what it was or why I thought it creepy!

There are plenty I don't like but that's different than creepy.

Bow tucks are bags, like a purse. If you go to pictures you will find tons of them.
If you go to page 9 of this topic you can see photos of convergent quilts.
Bonnie Hunter has instructions for crumb quilts. http://quiltville.com/crumbspf.html

Thank you for the info. I like the convergent and crumb quilts too. I will find a bow tuck bag ASAP. Love discovering new things. Keeps life from being dull.

I also don't care for Dresden Plate or Grandma's fan quilts.I think I don't like the grandma's fan because it is off centered?? But with me it's usually the color combo in any quilt. I love bargello's but have not made one yet. Have wanted to for about 15 years.I just found some pretty fabric to start my collection to make one. I have made several log cabins.
