Default Sewing machine moving

I'm set up with one of those 4' white tables you get in Walmart and have a devil of a time keeping it from sliding when I'm putting on a binding or going through layers with the batting. How do you all keep your machine still?

Yes shelf liner...double layer will work. Also if you could put a heavy weights over the table leg would help the vibrations. Your machine should also sit over the legs at one end.

I made a sewing mat the sort that has pocket that hang in the front and lined all the back of it with that shelf
liner , it is not something I have to wash often so I hand wash it , it washes OK . Works great for me .

I second shelf liner. I also put this under my sewing table legs to stop the table shifting. Great stuff!

I use one of the padded dish drainer mats, I bought them in Walmart (think about $6?)when I was in U.S. And covered the top with fabric to match the covers for my machines, unfortunately ran out of the fabric which I also brought from U.S. I got a nice new Juki over locker and it doesn't have a matching cover. The mat stops the machine moving.

I have my Bernina sitting in the well of my Singer sewing desk. I have a piece of carpet underneath it.
