I have an older model singer embroidery machine and just love it! You will get many hours of pleasure from this! Just a few tips to start you off...
join a singer embroidery forum..there are quite a few and you can get help and quick answers when you need help.
get a backup system for your embroidery files..you will start collecting them and soon have hundreds...you do not want to lose them!
there are a couple of embroidery programs you can buy to catalog your embroidery files..worth their weight in gold!
Enjoy your new machine! You can pm me if you ever have a question..or if yu need sources for thread, stabilizer, etc...Good Luck to you! Donna

What a wonderful surprise! I know you will enjoy it. I love my embroidery machine. I also see your Cricut cartridges hiding there. Another scrapper! Isn't it fun to translate designs into both crafts?

Hi Tam....I have the exact machine and she is so much fun......Ive had her for almost 2 1/2 yrs now....she embroiders, sews and quilts.......you will be totally amazed on all the embroidery you will be able to do....mine came from Hsn and all the goodies came with it......you can also down load designs online and the great part about this machine (Singer) is you can use any format which are Husquavna,Brother,Janome etc....theres 2 different size hoops....just have fun and read, read and read your manual....and if your interested I will send you a web site that has a forum just for this machine...their a great group of gals that also have this machine and we have projects that we do and just talk about everything from embroidery to family......so have fun with your new machine and sewing....and by the way your hubby sounds like a keeper for sure........Trish

Thank you for all the congrats and the great tips on this machine. I haven't been around much the past few days because I have actually been USING it lol. I haven't been able to play with the embroidery module at all but I am trying to finish up a baby quilt for a special little princess that should be here to visit in a few days.
