I let life get in the way and missed for 4 years. When I finally did, I was Stage 3. Been fighting for 3 years now. The key is beleiving you WILL win!!

Good for you. My SIL found out last week that she is now "cancer free". Praise the Lord!

Just had mine, and an ultra sound two weeks later to check suspicious areas. All okay.

I survived cancer, it has been 18 years. Thank God.

I am 3 year survivor this month and get re-checks every 6 mos..Mammo and MRI....I found "it" myself my accident while scratching myself 6 weeks after being told my yearly mammo was normal. Turns out the breast center I was going to had been watching this thing for 3 years without telling me! They said it wasn't changing so didn't report it to me or my family Dr....and they knew my mom had breast cancer! Get comfortable with what feels normal to you and never take anything for granted. Happy to report that I have an excellent prognosis. Had lumpectomy with radiation but I am always waiting for the other shoe to drop....

My 26 year old niece's last request was for all the women in her family to get their mammos. She was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 4 months pregnant. She refused to abort the baby. Said she would take her chances. The doctors said she would never see her little girl reach 3 months old. She died when her daughter was 18 months old. She is missed! I get my mammogram yearly!

So happy for all the survivors. Had my mammo a week ago and had to go back Monday for a re-do. Fortunately everything was ok but the weekend was tough. I admire those who can keep on keeping on.
