I do this as well but instead of tossing it I put all the snippits in an old pillow case stitching closed every 5" and make dog/cat beds for the animal shelter.

These are great ideas! I save my dryer lint in one during the winter months. In the spring I put it out on the ledge of my neighbor's board fence. The birds love it for lining their nests!

Great ideas ladies. iam always looking for something to keep notions etc. in and here it is right under my nose. Who says quilters aren't thrifty.

What a great idea for controlling binding...it's always seems to have it's own mind. Thank you to all you talented ladies for sharing your ideas. Now I can recycle used tissue boxes myself instead placing them in the recycling bin. Soooo many talented and thoughtful members of this board. Love you all!!!
