Glad I'm no alone. I sewed two blocks together once and had a tough time finding that one!

LMBO, sorry for laughing but it gave me such a giggle...

Join the club! I can sit in my chair and lose things! I sometimes think the gremlins come into my sewing space. LOL

No, I have never lost a block under my presser foot, but I have put one away in my stash.

You are lucky you found it. I am still looking for an 11"x7.5" section that I know was there as I put sticky letters a-g on each section as I cut them. Each set of rows cut 7 of the same sections. It is the de garance French General made out of a Jelly Roll. Somehow, in the letter D section one came up missing. My sewing area is pretty small, the dining room, and I can't figure out what could have happened to it. I know I didn't throw it away, and it really is not that small to lose. It has been over a week, and I still can't find it.

I have lost (misplaced) a block more than once. The problem is that I usually don't find it until I've made another block.

I was going to a quilt retreat,I called a taxi, then rushed to bring my luggage downstairs, suitcase, sewing kit, some food and my sewing machine one flight of stairs, one more to go, I hear the recycling truck coming to empty the bins.I repeat the moving starting with my Pfaff that I place far from the bins, I go up the stairs one more time, turn around, my machine is gone! I yelled so loud, the driver which is now waiting on a red light got off, finally got my machine back!
Let me tell you that I got in the taxi shaking from that eêrience.
