Certainly not me (hee hee hee) but a very good friend of mine has lost the center medallion to her hand appliqued Baltimore Album quilt.

Nothing. I am sure I cut enough for 8 blocks but maybe I messed up. I start gathering up the fabrics to cut the parts for another block, and lo and behold, there's my 8th block. Still under the presser foot.

Oh Yeah I lost/found a block once...It was "attached" to my fleece top, I couldn't see it till I took the top off. Boy, did I tear that room apart too! It was SOOO close, yet SOOO far away

I once lost a whole row and had to stitch another row, got the quilt all put together and yup there it was! Of course I didn't like the look of the new row but it was too late to disassemble the quilt. Oh well live & learn. Have I learned my lesson? NO! I still do it once in a while.
