First you have to choose a color group. So say you choose reds. Then once the reds come up click the little box in the top margin that says "theme" and a drop down will come up. They do have a choice for food and candy. If nothing comes back that means they don't have any in red fabrics. Try different colors. Food fabric is pretty specific and you may have better luck at a site like fabric.com

to the OP, Love 1000s of bolts and I have also had great customer service from them. Awesome source for wide backs and flannels and of course Moda Bella solids.

Great place to shop! Good prices & quality fabric. Like everyone else my only problem is I tend to spend too much.

I hate to be a naysayer - but I have had two experiences with them, both not good......1st time I ordered extra wide backing fabric that was on sale.....when it arrived, it was so thin it was almost like batiste....and it had so much sizing that it was super stiff.....when I phoned them (keep in mind this was on sale, and was regularly $17.99 per yard) I was told what did I expect for fabric that cheap? Certainly not LQS quality fabric!....Well - at those 2 comments, I was more than a little angry...( I ordered 8 yards at sale price of $12.99 a yard )...no offer of returning.....just nothing...

Chalked it up to experience, and then a few months later, they had what looked to be very nice fabric (regular 45" wide this time - and since extra wide is sometimes not quite as nice as normal quilting cotton - I gave it another chance.......ordered 1 yard cuts of 10 different fabrics....and when it arrived, the quality was as bad as the extra wide I had received from them earlier....fabric very thin, and loaded with sizing......Another call to customer service, and this person was not quite as rude as the first, but response was generally the same......If I really wanted LQS quality or close to it, I should go to one to get it.......and not order from them..........

It was the last time I ever ordered anything from them...........

There are several other web-based suppliers who are wonderful to work with and who stand behind their products, like Connecting Threads, FabricFancy.com, WebFabrics.net, etc......to, IMHO, waste time with Thousands of Bolts....

Sorry your experience was unsatisfactory, Shorebird. Sounds like you've found some other good websites for fabric. A couple are new to me and I might have to check them out.

I've ordered several times from them and always been happy. The last two orders I purchased ten or eleven yards of the same fabric for a king size back. Both times they called me to see what lengths would be best because they didn't have a continuous piece.

I was having a blue, blue day, and decided for some quilt therapy. This statement definitely did it, that was way too funny.

I was pleased with my order, top quality fabrics, good service. Love how you can view an enlargement of a 2-inch square to see the actual scale of the print. I would not hesitate to buy from ThousandBoltsandoneNut.com.

I've been ordering from TOB, for years. I've been mostly very pleased BUT . . . KNOW YOUR MANUFACTURERS! TOB carries fabrics from many manufacturers, just as any large brick-and-mortar store would. Not all brands are equal, as you already know. If you stick with known brands/manufacturers, you won't be disappointed.
