I have most all their colors in both cotton and polyester. Use it exclusively for quilting. True the cotton is very linty but I feel most all threads have some lint. I just have to remember to clean out the bobbin area and around the needle area at every bobbin change. I usually keep at least 3 spools of every color so I have one for the bobbin winder and 1 on the machine. If its a color I use alot I'll keep up to 10 spools as you never know when they'll stop selling that particular color. I also have Aurifil too and have used that for both piecing and quilting.

And yes, I love the price of CT's threads.

I figured out my thread problem on my Finicky Juki!

My Juki has a horizontal spool holder instead of a vertical one. I've found if I use topstitch needles and a (cone) spool stand I don't have the problem with thread breakage, even when doing FMQ. Each thread brand I've tried now works.

And, since the eye of the topstitch needle is larger it's easier to thread and I have less lint - even with CT thread.

I have a lot of CT thread but got a few spools of Superior Threads (don't remember which one and I'm too lazy to look right now. lol) when they were on sale. I find I like the Superior Threads thread more. So, I went back and got more on sale.

I have used this thread a lot and it is very linty. I have lots of it and will use it for a long time but would go to something else when I need arises.

Oh, yes!! That is the only thread my machine likes! I have tried the Aurofil and it didn't like that at all. As a matter of fact, I just ordered 4 more spools this weekend! It is a good quality thread for the price. Burn it up!! Happy quilting!

I find the newer spools aren't as linty. Still the same great quality though.
