I didn't see that response. What a great post/thread! Have never heard of Wawak. Thanks so much for bringing all this to my attention. One can definitely learn something new everyday, even after 60 yrs of sewing!

Wawak will send you a catalog too. Everything from irons to buttons, the more you buy the cheaper it is. Great for a group to buy and split the cost.

For piecing my charity quilt tops, I use thread passed down from Aunts. Right now I’m using Excell 100% polyester Mt Holly N.C. Price tag is 8/$1.00. Very good, not fuzzy at all, wish I had more but of course it would not be that price.
