maybe a half hour to an hour a night. Less on weekends. I'm Mommy to an awesome 2 year old (almost 3!!) and I'm a teacher. I also write and do translation work.

We're empty nesters and hubby does the laundry and yard work. We have Merry Maids in to clean. I do all of the cooking, shopping, and household paperwork (bills, taxes, etc). Even with all of the help, I get some time in the evenings and usually a few hours Saturday and Sunday. If I have "homework" from the job, that comes first and takes my quilting time.

That said, I'm taking a week of vacation and got 8 hours of quilting in both yesterday and today. Bliss.

I try to get to sewing zone 2 - 3 hours a night - sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

One Saturday a month my girlfriends and I get together from 9am until 10pm and do whatever we want -- sew, scrapbook, knit, whatever!
