I like your quilt and it's good to try new things.
You don't need to please others...just be yourself.

I have always loved scrappy quilts.
The more colors, the better.
Then I decided to try a quilt that was 3 shades of one color.
I couldn't believe how much I liked it!
Scrappies still make my heart sing but I am so glad that I made the other one.
Since then, I have made 3 other 'soft' quilts.

I like it as is. If you want to "punch it up" just a little bit, I would maybe add a narrow sashing type border. Perhaps cut 1.5" strips of a deep purple fabric and run that along each side between the last two blocks. Repeat that fabric in the binding. The quilt would stay soft, but there would be an added design element in it.

I love the softness of it. The contrast of your lovely fabrics is just right.

I like it - sometimes soft and soothing is very pleasant to have around.

I see no reason why every quilt has to 'pop'!!

That's what guns do! That's what pants seams do when there is more a** than fabric to cover it! That's what Rice Krispies do! That's what some chewers do with their gum! That's what knuckle crackers do to their joints!

I like the softness of this one. I tend to vary from darks to brights. I don't know what keeps me from the soft colors. They are so comforting looking. Maybe add a darker binding if you want that little pop.
