You don't need a storage unit. You either have to use it or share it. I am just finishing cleaning up our basement (the job from ****)! Most of the stuff (95% or more) was stuff we were not using. Why do I still have hamster cages when the last hamster died at least 7 years ago? I'm sure my stash has stuff I no longer even like so that is on the list to move out of my house too.

Yep.... We carpeted in November, I moved so much stuff up there. Just an hour ago I was up there, trying to find my hurricane tote, and came across so much stuff I need to do something with. (probably TOSS, because it's going on 10 months and the only thing I have been looking for, other than the camera charger, was that tote.)

That's the good thing about getting old--me not you--everything is new all over again. It's like finding a treasure chest. Disclaimer--not intended to insult anyone.

if you had a storage unit, you'd never find it. This way you stumble on it occassionallly.
