Default triangles

how do I figure out what size triangles to use when making a square in a square.I think thats what its called,a square with triangles on all sides.---Thanks Jean

Someone posted a tute last week on how to make a square in a square with no math. Can't remember who, but if you do a search with "square" and "no math" you should find it.

Using the same size for the corner blocks as for the inside block will work well, but there is more waste of fabric as the size of the block increases. For more exact measurements see Bonnie Hunter's page and use the corner triangles measurement. http://quiltville.com/onpointmath.shtml You can also paper piece these blocks if they're coming out slightly wonky.
