Default True definition of a Stash

I just heard this yesterday. A true Stash is one that has everything you need to make your quilts. You don’t have to go buy a single thing. Nothing! nada! Not even a spool of thread. I am proud to inform you I have a Stash!😃

I must have enough "stash" to make quilts for about 200 more years

So do I! Isn’t it lovely? I am not a hoarder but am certainly a collector!

I thought I had a stash but according to this definition I do not. I still have to go to the store to pick up more thread or that fabric to add the extra spark to a quilt. LOL

How long is my 'forever'. I have enough fabric, thread and batting to sew that long without ever buying anything. I might even have enough machine needles and rotary blades to last that long. But..will I buy anything else> Probably.

I have my fabric stash that includes everything from scraps to bolts and backing fabrics. Then there are the other items that I need for quilting that range from hoops to frames and a variety of machines. Of course that includes every other notion and thread color imaginable. So yepper my stash fills the best part of 1 1 /2 rooms. I have always known my stash would out live me.

That’s not a stash, that’s a fabric store!

I have a stash, but once in a while I'll want to make something very specific and may need to buy for that project.

SusieQOH, your 200 years scares me. Based on how long my parents lived, I figure I have 17 years left. So do I start selling some of my bolts?
