Isn't it the same thing as the BSR??
... anyone with it should be able to answer your questions.

I have the HQ Sweet 16 and tried the demo at the store where I bought it. I was excited to try it, but was a bit disappointed. Maybe a learning curve, but it seems like I do better without it. It felt a bit choppy and the stitches didn't look as nice. Could have been a tension issue and I may go back and try it again now that I've had a chance to use my machine a bit more. I would definitely test drive before purchasing.

In the Pacific NW it retails for $1500! I would love to know if anyone has tried this too! On the Babylock yahoo group at least one person has it and loves it!!

As far as I know it is the same as Bernina's BSR

I have a BSR with my bernina. Do I use it. The answer is sometimes. I learnt free motion without the BSR and find I can now adays use it or not. If you can free motion spend the money on more fabric and watch the price until it becomes a price you are not so worried about or on eBay.
