I stay away from any pattern with a 60 degree angle unless I am going to use paper piecing to insure accuracy.

I did one by hand with the epp method. Really not bad that way. Went fairly quickly all things considered. Don't know that I would attempt by machine though!

Thank you very much, Tartan. I had somehow made it much more complicated in my head. It is a bit tricky, but basically the same technique, and I now have the first two rows together. Six rows left to assemble and join!
