are you using a wooden tray? Hard to staple onto a metal tv tray, I think

This is a good idea. I don't want to sound like a spoil sport... "BUT" you need to get up and move around to keep your circulation going...that's when the ironing board that is away from where you are working comes in handy. It will force you to do that...thanks for the tip..crafty_linda_b

This is a great idea. Here is another to add to the tray, instead of an iron board cover use a ironing pad with markings that u set on the cutting table, fits perfect!!! U can staple it right to the table around the outside edge.

Good tip, but I got distracted by those ADORABLE pups in your avatar! What cuties!

My version was a bit easier. Bought 2 tray set at auction, set one up beside my sewing chair, put June Tailor "Cut N Press" on top and voila! Instant pressing center.

I actually have 2, one is for ironing and the other for cutting, the ironing top is removable since I made it with elastic so it slips on and off. That way I have it for extra tables when we need them

I made one also. From a wood tv tray that bought at one of the dollar stores for $10.00 put thermo batting on it then topped it with silver iron board material. Next all you do is turn it over and staple and pull materials around the bottom. Just love it!
