Nice quilt and great idea on the border. I've only made a table topper so far but hope to do a bigger one soon. Thanks

You'll like it. There are several quick no waste techniques with stunning results. I found the accuracy of the pieces was better then templates or rotary cutting with rulers. Also you cut multiple pieces at the same time. It goes fast! I like the technique where you mark the back of your rotary cutting mat above trying to lay pieces of paper down and cut through them.

I made one and hope to make more but the technique I found has no left over scraps.

The "No Waste Windmill" pattern can be found in Anita Grossman Soloman's book "Rotary Cutting Revolution" published last year by C & T Publishing. It's available through amazon.com, and most other quilt shops. Here it is at amazon.com for only $17.53:

Here are two baby quilts made using her techniques. I especially enjoyed the square in a square. The square in a square is found both in her book and a free online tutorial.

THANK YOU!!!...I knew there was one out there that used NO template....went to my distributor and placed this book on my order to send in tomorrow!
