    UFO #3 finished

Hello all. I finally remembered to get proper pics of #3. This is the year to finish all of them and so far so good. #4 is being bound now but will take some time as it is 90 x 108 and I'm doing it by hand.
This was just straight line very simple quilting in the lighter triangles and the border. I wanted fabric to stand out, not the quilting, so stitches on the border can barely be seen. It will hang in my hubby's man cave...he is a retired History teacher and loves Civil War prints; these all have stripes of some kind. It was my first attempt at sewing triangles. Overall, I'm pretty proud of it.

Oh, that is gorgeous! No doubt he will appreciate it - and you - every time he looks at it.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

I love it, because I love quilts with triangles. And I love striped fabrics. This is a very handsome quilt.
