You are all so kind.... you know when you have worked on something a long time... you forget how others will react when seeing what you are doing... you have spurred me on to get the rest done ASAP. THANKS

Baywatcher,

WOW!!! Those blocks are beautiful. I can't even imagine the labor and Love that's gone into each one.

Thanks for sharing and providing inspiration :D

I am taking this challenge and am now working on a quilt I began 10 years ago. I started hand quilting with invisible thread but on the black background it is not invisible and I don't like the way it looks so I just put it aside. I am taking out the stitching I have done and will do the quilting with black thread. The quilt has palm prints in many different colors on a black background. I have decided to do a blanket stitch around the palm prints as well to give it a folk art look. The palm prints have the embroidered names of friends from church and friends from work before I retired and we moved. When I get it finished, I will post a picture but it might take a while because I have so many other progects in the works.

Could have been 2006...on her website before she had a contract with MODA...yes that long ago..I had cut out the thangles....back then and never completed them..over the summer I finished the thangles and put the blocks together...it just needed the borders....so I finally did that tonight..will put it in my to be quilted pile..hurray!
