My son built me a cabinet with three shelves in it & he made the doors with glass plus the ends he put glass in them so you can see them.

I have them all over the parlor. I have them on the couch, and rocking chair, and love seat, and I also have them on a quilt rack. Keep in mind, I use all my quilts.

I have used a ladder, closed and leaned up against the wall, with my quilts folded over the rungs, and a quilt on each side basically just hanging to cover the outside of the ladder. It looks nice, gives me a place to store the ladder AND the quilts. Of course, they are also on my bed, on all my couches and chairs, coffee table, walls, etc. Just like everybody else, I'm sure!

My DIL hangs a quilt I made for her over the stair banister.
I have small ones hanging on wall, over quilt racks and backs of lounge suite/chairs, multiple ones folded back over end of spare bed.

One day, perhaps in my next home when I move...I would like to have a patchwork showercurtain and curtain in the bathroom...perhaps no batting in between - just the top and backing - with a liner - I think that would be really cool...
I have a friend in France who has sofas upholstered in patchwork..what a beautiful job......

Another suggestion--do you have access to one of the older baby cribs with the wider spaces between the rails? Those can be utilized for quilt display. May need to figure out how to hang on the wall but you could hang several quilts that way.

If you will go to Allpeoplequilt.com, they have several ways of decorating with quilts. Like used for a head board for a bed and an old changing table with quilts stacked on it. I have them hanging on bedroom doors, that I change often. My grand children say you cant be cold at Grandma's because there are quilts on every door.

I have a china cabinet full of pewter from Germany. Once I figure out what to do with the pewter, I'm going to put my quilts in it.

Your wall hanging looks just like one I made except mine is 11" x 11"! I love your dining room!
