    The mom has a fairly modern style and they named the baby Paisley Rose.

    I really love these fabrics together. I may change one of the grays if I can find a gray paisley. Right now I only have a fat quarter of the brown with the butterflies but I'll get more of it and make it the accent border.

    I'll use my standard pinwheel pattern.

    Beautiful! Should be a very elegant baby quilt. Can't wait for my daughter to have a baby she will have much the same tastes!

    Looks like it will be a very feminine rich looking baby quilt...fit for a queen. Post a picture...would love to see the finished quilt.

    Any color goes.........lets remember that not all babies are blond haired and blue eyed. I have made crib quilts with wild animals, jungle prints, bright colors. Had a friend tell me one time that babies recognize bright colors before they see pastel. The colors in the post above are certainly in the pastel category, their patterns are not traditional
